Content

Content is where you keep the documents, pages and files your work depends on. Use the drive to organise files in folders, documents to keep every version of a file in one place, and content pages to publish text.

Turn content on

Open Settings, then Workspace features, and switch on the content areas you use:

  • Enable Content Page: text pages you write and publish.
  • Enable Document: documents with a version history.
  • Enable Companion File: files you upload and attach to documents.

The drive

The drive stores files in folders. It has two parts, and each one is marked with a badge:

  • Shared (the workspace drive): files that everyone in the workspace can see.
  • Private (your personal drive): files only you can see.

Adding files

  • Choose Upload to add files from your computer.
  • Drag a whole folder from your computer into the drive. Its files and sub-folders are uploaded with it.
  • Create a new file directly in the drive: Text, Markdown, HTML or Image.

Working with folders

  • Open a folder to see what is inside it. The path at the top shows where you are, and you can click any part of it to go back.
  • Download a folder to get a zip file of everything in it, including its sub-folders.
  • Delete a folder removes everything in it, including every file and sub-folder. The confirmation lists the items that will be deleted, so check it before you confirm.

The usage bar shows how much of the drive's 100 MB limit you have used.

Documents

A document is a named file with a history of its versions. Use it for files that change over time, such as contracts or proposals.

  • Add a new version when you have an updated file. The previous version stays in the history.
  • Attach an existing file as the new version, if the file is already in your companion files.
  • Supporting files are extra files that belong with the document, such as a spreadsheet behind a report. You can add or remove them at any time.

Earlier versions stay in the history, so no change is lost.

Companion files

Companion files are the files you upload to BunnyCRM so they can be attached to documents. Find them in the companion file tiles at /v1/companion_file/tiles, and upload a new one at /v1/companion_file/upload.

Content pages

A content page is a piece of text you write and publish. Choose how it is written: Markdown, HTML or Plain text. Open the content page designer at /v1/content_page/designer to write one.

Tips

  • Keep folders for each project or customer, so files are easy to find later.
  • Use the shared drive for files your team needs, and the private drive for drafts.
  • Add a new version to a document instead of uploading a file with a new name, so the history stays in one place.
