- Enable Contact and Enable Address: people and their contact details.
- Enable Campaign: marketing campaigns.
- Enable Opportunity: deals in your sales funnel.
- Enable Activity: calls, notes, emails and WhatsApp messages.
- Enable Newsletter Subscriber: people who signed up for your newsletter.
- Enable Social Media Post: posts for your social media channels.
- Enable Project and Enable Action Item: projects and to-dos.
Contacts
A contact is a person or organisation you work with. A contact's email, phone, web and social media details are kept in the address linked to the contact, so change them there.
When you win an opportunity for a contact, the contact's lifecycle stage changes to Customer. See the Opportunities section below.
Campaigns
A campaign groups the deals and activity of one marketing effort. Each campaign has a channel: Email, Social media, Paid ads, Event, Content, Referral or Other. The channel is also the default way to reach contacts from that campaign.
| Page | Address | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Compose campaign | /v1/campaign/compose |

| Campaign pipelines | /v1/campaign/pipelines |

Opportunities and the sales funnel
An opportunity is a deal with a contact. It can also belong to a campaign. Each opportunity moves through these stages: New, Qualified, Proposal, Negotiation, Won or Lost.
| Page | Address | What it shows |
|---|---|---|
| Sales funnel | /v1/funnel |
How many opportunities are at each stage, and the share that moves on to the next stage. |
| Opportunity journeys | /v1/opportunity/journeys |

Following up with a contact
On a campaign's opportunities, each row with a contact has two buttons:
- Log Activity records a call, a meeting or a note. Nothing is sent.
- Engage sends an email or a WhatsApp message to the contact and records it. The dialog offers only the channels for which the contact has an address on file.
Every time you engage, the opportunity records the latest channel and status, and the number of times you engaged.
Winning or losing a deal
- Set an opportunity's stage to Won when the deal is closed. The first time a contact wins a deal, BunnyCRM creates a customer for that contact. Later deals with the same contact use the same customer. The contact's lifecycle stage changes to Customer.
- Set an opportunity's stage to Lost and record why: Price, Competitor, No budget, No response or Other.
Activities: sending messages
Use Compose activity (/v1/activity/compose) to write an email or WhatsApp message to the contacts of one or more opportunities.
Each message in the activity log shows its delivery status:
- Draft: saved but not sent.
- Sent, Delivered or Read: the message went out.
- Failed: the message did not go out. It stays in the log with this status.
Emails are sent from your workspace's email account, once you have set one up (see General). If you have not set one up, they are sent from BunnyCRM's no-reply address. WhatsApp messages need a WhatsApp integration in the workspace.
Newsletter subscribers
People who sign up for your newsletter appear in Newsletter Subscribers, on the list they joined. A subscriber becomes active once they confirm the subscription. A subscriber can unsubscribe at any time, and then no longer receives your newsletter.
Social media posts
Write a post once and choose the platforms it is for: Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, TikTok, WhatsApp, YouTube, WeChat, Reddit, Snapchat, Telegram, Pinterest, Threads, Discord, Twitch or Tumblr.
After you publish a post on a platform, confirm it on the post. The post's log then shows every platform where it has gone out.
The social feed (/v1/social) shows your posts one after another, so you can review what you have published.
Tips
- Check the sales funnel each week to see which stage deals are getting stuck in.
- Keep contact details up to date. Engage only offers the channels a contact has an address for.
- Turn off areas you do not use in Settings, to keep the menus short.
